East Side Love Story explores the connection between the people, street corners, and everyday moments that make a neighborhood feel like home. The project’s objective was to create an intimate portrait of East Los Angeles through the lens of the artist, St. Panther. The creative approach pairs observational imagery with rhythmic editing, allowing small gestures and street-level details to shape the narrative. My role spans directing, camera operating, and editing, bringing the footage together through pacing, sound, and a cohesive visual language. The clips below illustrate how those decisions develop across individual scenes and the final color grade.
